I spent 6 years in the Navy onboard a submarine operating nuclear reactors. During my time in service I was very active with weights, running, and general military fitness. During my last 10 years I have been stuck behind a desk and monitor slowly losing my athletic ability, agility, and strength. Ty introduced me to CrossFit and I was hooked after my first workout. One year later I am 40lbs lighter, a lot stronger, and in the best shape of my life. I have a very strong interest in Olympic weightlifting and have attended the CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting Certification. I continually look to educate myself and improve my abilities to become a better athlete and coach.
