CJ Baroli
I’ve been active and fit all my life in spite of severe asthma. I started playing softball when I was 7 and continued through high school. I played rugby for two years with a pick up team for UC Berkley. I volunteer for Search and Rescue and love doing anything outside, riding horses, hiking, running, mountain biking, hunting…generally anything. If I haven’t done it I am always willing to try. I have worked out with weights since I was 12. To this day I have never quit. In the past, my knowledge of physical training came from reading books, learning techniques from the Internet and trial and error. Then along came CrossFit: a place I fit in and love that gave me the tools, the certifications, the inspiration and the camaraderie of so many like-minded people. I wish I would have had CrossFit when I was playing sports competitively because I have never been more fit in my life. And not just with one thing. I mean everything has improved. It has also taught me about the sheer human will power that people possess. Crossfit has become my drug of choice and I love sharing it with others. It isn’t just an exercise regimen I fit into my life, it is an exercise regimen that fits my lifestyle.
